Dr. Ryan Nielsen was inspired to become a Chiropractor when he began to experience severe, chronic back and neck pain at the early age of 17 after a weight lifting injury and the only relief and answers came when he began seeing a Chiropractor. This series of events literally transformed his life which then took on a distinct, powerful direction as he learned the benefits of taking care of your spine through Chiropractic care. Dr. Nielsen first received his Bachelors Degree from University of Nebraska in 2000 and then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic and received in Doctorate degree in 2004. He discovered the life changing principals of Chiropractic care, ensured a much longer and more desirable lifestyle of being fit, healthy and disease free! He moved to Eastern North Carolina to pursue his dedicatiion to helping others in 2006 where he started what is Williamston Chiropractic Center. In addition to Dr. Nielsen, we have a Massage Therapist, and staff that are educated to provide additional services to help you reach your health goals. We take a team approach to health, and each and every one of us are committed to helping you and your family with the three types of care we offer in our office: condition-based care, reconstructive care, and wellness care.
Our office is centered around improving neurological function by working with the cranial and spinal bones. The benefits of regular Chiropractic care are infinite, and we would love the opportunity to share Chiropractic with you. Our focus is on family care, as you will see from the minute you walk into our office.
Mylynn Mills, LMBT #8252
In any healthcare field, the number one rule is to “do no harm.” I like to think of it as “how can I make you feel better today.” My name is Mylynn Mills. I am an Eastern North Carolina girl, born and raised. I am the only girl in my family among three brothers. I am happily married with two active, healthy boys of my own. Right out of high school, I’ve always had a clear vision of what I wanted out of life and how to get it. I knew I wanted to help people manage their pain. Which led me to my career choices. I am a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist since 2008, a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant since 2015, and a Certified Corrective Exercise Therapist since 2019. Through massage, stretching, and strengthening, I hope to alleviate pain and teach patients about injury prevention to avoid pain all together. My parents instilled in me the importance of a great work ethic, being kind to others, and putting my family and friends first. That’s how I feel about Williamston Chiropractic Center and their patients. They are my friends and they are my family.
